Can these be installed on my existing sills, and are they hard to install?

Yes, they can be installed on existing sills. The installation is simple, and no complex wiring is required. To install LED door sills on existing sills, you can either remove the pre-installed sills and replace them with the LED door sills, or you can use dual-sided adhesive tape (Included in your order) to securely attach the LED door sills over the existing ones.

How can I remove existing sills to install yours?

If you have any pre-existing sills made with Plastic, Aluminium or Fiber, follow these steps : 

  1. Start by gently heating the area with a hairdryer to soften the adhesive. 
  2. Use a plastic trim tool or a flathead screwdriver wrapped in tape to lift one corner of the sill. 
  3. Slowly pry and pull up the sill along its length. 
  4. Clean any leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol. 
  5. Make sure the surface is smooth and clean before installing LED Door Sills.
How are these powered, and how do I charge them?

The LED door sills are powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, which charges via USB. The battery can last 3 months on a full charge and you can recharge them anytime anywhere, making it very convenient for you to use.

How long does the battery last, and do they need frequent charging?

The battery lasts for upto 3 months on a full charge, and with normal use, you won’t need to charge them frequently. The sills are designed for minimal maintenance & maximum convenience.

Should I charge when I receive them? Is a charger included?

You’ll need to charge your LED Door Sills for at least an hour after you’ve unboxed them. Your package will include a USB charging cable because these pedals have a USB charging port. You can use any USB you want.

How do they activate, and do they go on/off automatically?

These LED sills use built-in sensors that automatically light up when you open your car door and turn off when you close it. You don’t have to worry about switching them on or off—it's all taken care of for you.

How do I choose/change the color on this LED Door Sill?

You can choose from 7 preinstalled colors, or you can change the color by pressing the button given on the product. Moreover, there are different light effects which makes it more attractive and interesting.
